Mumbai, India: Mashreq, one of the leading financial institutions in the MENA region, has appointed Tushar Vikram as its new Country Head and CEO of India, starting June 2024. In his new role, Tushar Vikram will lead the Bank’s operations in India, driving the strategic direction and growth in the country.
Tushar Vikram is a seasoned business banker with a career spanning three decades. Prior to joining Mashreq, Tushar served as the Group Head of Investment Banking for HDFC Bank, where he led the Project Finance, Equity, Debt Capital Markets and M&A.
Prior to that, Tushar spent 27 years with Citibank in various roles, covering Commercial Bank, Investment and Structured Finance, Digitization, Credit Processes, and Risk Management.

Tushar holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Delhi University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. With a robust background in investment banking, corporate finance, and strategic financial management, he brings a wealth of expertise in navigating complex financial landscapes and driving sustainable growth strategies.
